The Selangor Climate Adaptation Centre (SCAC) is partnering with the European Union under the EU Technical Assistance Facility to the Green Team Europe Initiative (TAF-GTEI), part of the EU–ASEAN partnership, to develop bankable Nature-based Solutions (NbS) project designs focusing on the forest landscape in Selangor.
Announced in July 2026, the collaboration is part of SCAC’s effort to bring more climate projects to Selangor and build a more resilient state.
Stakeholder Engagement on Forestry and Agroforestry Interventions
Under the project, SCAC and its partners are exploring Nature-based Solutions through forestry and regenerative agroforestry as potential interventions for selected areas within the Selangor River basin, drawing on the participation and input of various stakeholders.
SCAC is grateful to all stakeholders for their participation and input as it brings more climate projects forward to build a more resilient Selangor.
